New Running Music from New Beck Album and More Posted on JogTunes

Apple iTunes The tunes from Beck's new album, Modern Guilt, make up a nice little playlist, with 2 tunes in the 120 BPM range for warm-up and cool-down and 5 runnables that peak at 176. You can download them as individual tunes from our Beck list and add them to your workout playlists.

From iTunes' latest releases, we found Nas' "Make the World Go Round" running at a fast 180, 2 tunes by The Cure in the 140s, and "Pushin' Me Away" by the Jonas Brothers at 162 BPM. Check our home page tunes list for details.

Peter Andersson has again provided JogTunes with a great list of his new favorite running tunes. Here are two songs with quotes from his email. We posted both on our home page's new tunes list. Here's Peter's website for more great tunes.
  • Tanita Tikaram - Good tradition (Pop) - 154 - British pop from the late 80s or early 90s.
  • Lostprophets - Last summer (Pop) - 151 - My favourite song by them so far
Jim Webster's new site, podwogging.com, is a great source of tunes for working out exactly to the beat. From his list we posted Private Idaho (Live at the Roxy) by the B-52's. It rocks at 168. They're both on the jogtunes.com home page.

I hope you enjoy the latest additions to JogTunes.

Best of running,

Dr. Bob
