JogTunes and the Fitnio Exercise Tracker iPhone App

Robby, a member of the Fitnio iPhone exercise tracking team app, recently introduced me to their program. Their uniqueness? Running music playlist integration. That means you can set up a playlist to use whenever you run. The app uses the built in GPS for tracking. It can be interfaced with their website, fitnio.com, for map acquisition, history, goal tracking, and more.

Check out the screen shot. Here's the info on music integration. And here's their blog.

This is one impressive app. When you launch it, don't forget to get your running music from jogtunes.com or load up our podcast episodes.

And shoot them a comment and tell them I sent you.

A Running Music Tribute to Michael Jackson and More On JogTunes.com

Contrast abounds in our latest listings on JogTunes.com. The range goes from Sinatra (my pick) to Static-X (Peter's Pick), and from Michael Bublé (my pick) to Lacrimas Profundere (Peter's pick). The BPMs are from 142 to 156.

Then there's our small tribute to Michael Jackson. You can walk to "Billie Jean", jog to "Beat It", and run to "Call on Me".

Finally, Spinal Tap is Back from the Dead (album title). We posted "Tonight I'm Gonna Rock You Tonight." It hauls at 180.

Check out Peter Andersson's latest insights into great running music on his website.
