More Tunes for Music-Paced Running

Here's a list of the artists whose "runnable" songs I just posted on jogtunes.com.

- Beck
- A Perfect Circle
- System of a Down
- Audioslave

I admit that I select most songs solely by listening to the 30 second clips in iTunes and counting the BPM with Blacktree's iTunes-BPM Inspector. Since I don't listen to the entire song, I can miss changes in tempos and other characteristics of the song that might affect the running pace. I apologize for this but hope that the user understands that it would be prohibitive to purchase all of the songs just in order to look for unusual characteristics. I encourage users to contact me about any songs that they find are inappropriately listed as "runnable" tunes on jogTunes.com.

I also wish to acknowledge the numerous joggers and runners who have shared their running playlists with the public. They have been most helpful to me. I hope they will understand that I only chose truly music-paced running songs recorded by their favorite artists. Many songs are enjoyed by runners even though the songs' tempos don't truly match their running pace. While that's all well and good, jogTunes is promoting only running-paced songs to foster the acceptance and enjoyment of music-paced running.
