JogTunes Posts New Running Music - Mostly Coming from the UK

Two themes dominate our latest additions to our running music database. Here they are on the 2nd page of the JogTunes Tunes List.

British Artists

I have a British connection. My son lives in Bristol. All the more reason that I posted a bevy of artists from the UK who join other Brits on our list including Coldplay, Amy Winehouse, Oasis, The Killers, and Gorillaz. We added walkable and runnable tunes by Lily Allen, The Streets, The Specials, Duffy, Take That, and Kasabian.

Twitter Sources

A Twitter search under "running music" revealed some great posts about running to music. One tweet suggested The Maine and we posted "Into Your Arms" by The Maine which runs at 181.

Another tweet said rather poetically: "Drops of rain in the wind suitably coolant this morning; and Andy Sheppard's Movements in Colour proved good running music." We agree and posted "May Song" for a nice run at 162.

A more brief tweet: "Toadies = new favorite running music" resulted in our listing "I come from the Water" for another gentle run at 161.

And Here's Peter's Picks

Peter Andersson is our veteran contributor of great running music and an insightful commentator. From his master list of the top 50 we posted Halford's "The One You Love to Hate," running fast at 183. Check out Peter's great comment about Halford on Peter's site. It's #18 on his list.

From Peter's latest posting on his site we found The Motion Sick and their easy jogging tune, "30 Lives (Up-Up-Down-Dance Mix)."
