JogTunes Adds More Peter's Picks and a Christmas Playlist

Happy Holidays everyone! Here's the latest on JogTunes.com:

I published a new playlist of 11 Christmas tunes for a perfect holiday workout. The BPMs start at a fast walk at 128, and peak at a fast 183. The cool down is a slower walk at 113 with Soulful Christmas by James Brown. You can get the whole package as an iMix on iTunes (US only) or order individual tunes from the playlist's page to fit your personal playlist needs.

I also just added more great music for paced running and other workouts. Peter Andersson's Picks for this month include many great metal tracks. I posted tunes by UnSun, Tank (from the 80s), Dream Evil, and Airbourne. In addition I posted three Metro Station pop tunes and another Bif Naked tune. They'll be on the home page of jogtunes.com until the next update. After that, just use the artist search feature.

You can find a great write up of Bif Naked's "Let Down" here.

And here's Peter's great commentary about Dream Evil's "Doomlord" sent to me by email:

"Swedish metal with a twist, the name of the song is a deliberate maltranslation pun on the name of a local bird, and the spoken part (which I assume is meant to sound possessed or something like that to non-Swedes) is actually about ornithology! They must have had great fun writing this one!

If you have an MP3 player, I've got Amazon/MP3 links for your convenience. If you continue to shop on Amazon after going there from a jogtunes link, I'll get commissions from your purchases. This is an easy way to help support jogtunes.com and my podcast, The JogTunes Indie Podcast.

Enjoy the season!

Hey, Love what you're doing here. Really pleased you're doing actual podcasts, and not just playlists. I'll check a few out and do a review over at my site, as well as add you to the blogroll. Check out my site when you get a chance, think you'll like it. Some video podcasts there you can use for indoor cycling.
