New Christmas/New Years Running Music and more on JogTunes.com

There are some great Christmas/New Years songs that are runnable. Check out our latest holiday finds on the home page of JogTunes.com. There's one song each by *NSYNC, The Kinks, John Mellencamp, and The Ramones. The BPMs range from a walkable 119 to a comfortable run at 154.

There are 4 Peter's Picks this week. The Cult have 2 songs, and there's one by Sinéad O'Connor and one by Clay Walker. The running BPM range is 146 to 156, all expertly determined by Peter. Check out his great website for other BPM categorized running music and insightful commentary.

We topped off the list with these tunes by bands recommended by Runner's World Forum contributor taylspin:

  • "Le Disko" by Shiny Toy Guns from We Are Pilots which rocks at a fast walking 124 BPM.

  • Two by Flyleaf from the album Flyleaf: "Fully Alive" rocking at 150 and "I'm So Sick" at 154.

  • And "Screenwriters Blues" by Soul Coughing from Ruby Vroom, a fast running alternative at 180 BPM.

  • Please come over to JogTunes.com for exciting holiday shopping. As an affiliate with Apple, Buy.com, Amazon, addidas, and other companies, I can offer discounts on many items. See the ads on my sites' shopping page as well as several other pages.

And don't forget, if the weather's inclement, try indoor cycling to jogtunes and The JogTunesIndie Podcast. You can find tunes, playlists, details, and advice at BikeToTheBeat.com. The playlists at jogtunes.com also work well for cycling and spinning.
