At jogtunes.com we found new great runnable songs from many sources. This is quite an eclectic mix. Eleven of the most recently added 22 songs can be found on our home page but all of the new songs are also found in the Tunes List.
From the iTunes Music Store promos come Swizz Beatz, Matchbox 20, Manu Chao, Kenna, MIA, and Tori Amos.
Runner's World's discussion forum thread, Best Running Playlist EVER, continues to provide great running music. From HeartSmartMD's list we got New Found Glory's All Downhill From Here, a rock song at 168 BPM. Also, So Long, Astoria by the Ataris (183), and Silversun Pickups' Melatonin (162) and Lazy Eye (127).
Skryvanio, from the same discussion thread, mentioned Trivium. We found a song by Trivium called Dying In Your Arms that runs at 160.
Another Runner's World contributor is adamyoungnc who suggested the artists Mae and Further Seems Forever. Mae's song, Suspension runs at an easy going 150. We found a song by Further Seems Forever called Bye, Bye, Bye that runs at a perfect 167.
Susan, our newest contributor and an avid aquarunner, supplied us with I'm Not Running Anymore by John Mellencamp. It's a fast walk at 128. Here's her website.
We're also grateful to Lisa, a new contributor, who sent us a great list of tunes. We posted Potential Breakup Song by Aly & AJ which runs at 158 and Pieces of Me by Ashlee Simpson (174).
Peter, our veteran contributor, has added Joe Satriani's Summer Song to his list. We posted this Peter's Pick which runs at 162. Another pick we added is an oldie but goodie, Cold Sweat, by Thin Lizzy (171).
