JogTunes Additions: New Podcast Episode, Tunes by the Decemberists, Melody Club, and More

Hi all,

Thanks to everyone for your kind comments on my Facebook jogtunes.com page. Your feedback is very encouraging and shows that I'm fulfilling the JogTunes mission.

I just published the latest episode (#31) of the JogTunes Indie Podcast. It features a new genre for the show: New Age. The featured artist is Faith Rivera. Her great music was the inspiration for this episode's theme. Please check out the podcast page on JogTunes.com for details.

I also recently posted an eclectic mix of runnable tunes on JogTunes.com, including 3 by The Decemberists and 2 by Melody Club. The latter group is a Peter's Pick. Also, there's Soulja Boy Tell 'Em, Theory of a Deadman (also from Peter), and Jive Bunny and the Mixmasters.

Feel free to follow JogTunes on Twitter.

Meanwhile, best of running, and enjoy the music!

A New All-Metal Playlist on JogTunes

The JogTunes Group presents a metal music medley that should definitely motivate the laziest runner to get up and match the beat with the feet. These tunes have been hand picked for runnability by Peter Andersson, a veteran contributor to our website, jogtunes.com. They're sequenced by beats-per-minute (BPM) from warm-up to cool-down with a whole lot of paced running in between. The BPMs start at 144 and end at 148 with a peak at 185 and tunes in the 150s, 160s, 170s, and 180s.

Tell me what you think about the new playlist at comments (at) jogtunes.com.
