JogTunes.com Lists New Running Music by 30 Seconds to Mars, Godsmack, Rob Zombie, Lamb of God, and More

Music-paced runners are invitied to check out the new runnable songs we posted on our website, jogTunes.com.

Last week we posted songs by artists sent in by Runner's World visitors to the Music on the Go forum category of Runner's World Magazine's website. Since then, several runners sent in more running music suggestions to the thread called "Looking for some new rock/metal music to workout to?"

We checked out the bands and found that most of the bands have listed runnable songs in iTunes. The artists include 30 Seconds to Mars, Godsmack, Rob Zombie, Lamb of God, Gwar, and Stabbing Westward. The songs are listed in the center column of this page. Album art and links to three of the albums are at the top of this page.

We wish to thank the Runner's World community for their interest in and contributions to music-paced running.

Always a great source of music-paced running songs, Peter's List supplied us with Ice Cube's It Was A Good Day and Kingdom Come's Do You Like It. You can find Peter's top 50 picks with great commentary at his website.

JogTunes.com Lists New Running Music by Rage Against the Machine, Mastodon, 12 Stones, Billy Idol and More

Music-paced runners are invitied to check out the new runnable songs we posted on our website, jogTunes.com.

This week we consulted the Music on the Go forum category of Runner's World Magazine's website. Happily, we found some great artists among the posts by three forum contributors. The artists include Rage Against the Machine, Mastodon, 12 Stones, and Atreyu.

We then turned to our veteran contributors. From Peter's list of 200 running songs we got songs by The Ramones and Girlschool. Peter's website has his top 50 tunes with superb commentary).

Searching for songs by two bands from Andy's list resulted in songs by Drowning Pool and Fort Minor.

We added two more Billy Idol songs to our collection, both from Geoff's contribution of BPM-rated running music.

This week we returned to an old friend's blog for some great new running tunes. The Derek Rose Blog has been a source of visitors to jogTunes.com since we first launched two years ago. Recently, several contributors to Derek's long-running thread, "best running music?" have posted new running music lists.as comments. We consulted the lists sent in by Creepy and FancyPants to come up with the latest additions to our Tunes List. The artists include McFly, Garbage, Relient K, Saliva, Static-X, and My Chemical Romance. We look forward to returning to Derek's site for more runnable tunes in the near future.
